Factory-to-forwarder handover: a shipment information checklist
Align cargo details, packaging, documents, responsibilities and timing before goods move from the factory to the freight forwarder.
Purchasing support on the ground in China
Follow production progress and coordinate inspections against the agreed specifications and scope. We report observed issues with photographs and records, then follow up on the factory's response.
Discuss your sourcing needsFor purchasing teams that cannot regularly visit a factory in China or need a clearer view of product condition before shipment.
How the work moves forward
Define appearance, dimensions, function and packaging checks, along with the sample quantity. Identify any requirements that need specialist testing.
Confirm the production schedule and when goods will be available for inspection. Distinguish observed findings from explanations provided by the factory.
Share findings, the potentially affected scope and the factory's proposed response. Rework, reinspection and shipment decisions follow the buyer's instructions and agreed procedure.
An inspection describes the goods checked within the agreed scope and at a particular time. Sampling cannot rule out every defect in every unit, and it does not replace statutory certification or laboratory testing.
Tell us about your product and its current stage. We can clarify the checks needed and the scope of support.
